Caring for our communities

Laying the foundations for support, care and consideration for our communities

By understanding our local communities and people, we recognise their challenges. We want to give back kindness and care to those who need it. Through fundraising, volunteering and community support, we commit to having a positive impact on local lives and the environment.

We set ourselves Bold targets, connect with our communities and craft productive, meaningful ways to make a difference, now and for the future.

24 Peaks in 24 Hours Challenge

We proudly support three incredible charities making a difference in our local communities: Little Village, Kentish Town City Farm, and Social Bite.
In October, 11 of our team members from across the business including security managers, Hotel Managers, and events executives, plus our CEO, took on the 24 Peaks in 24 Hours Challenge in the Lake District! On day one the team climbed 10 of the peaks before an overnight rest and completing the final 14 on day two, raising over £12,000 (and counting!) for these amazing causes.
Congratulations to all the team who took part in this incredibly tough, but rewarding challenge.

Social Bite ‘Festival of Kindness’

Social Bite is on a mission to bring people together, to build a collaborative movement to end homelessness. As part of the group’s long-standing relationship with leading homelessness charity, and their annual Festival of Kindness campaign in London. The Tree of Kindness was installed outside The Clermont Charing Cross where donations could be left by the tree itself.

Kentish Town City Farm

Kentish Town City Farm is a local charity that helps city people connect with animals, nature and the environment. The farm is situated on a four-acre site, alongside two railway lines in the inner London Borough of Camden. There are animal pasture areas, community gardens, a wildlife pond, and a riding arena which is presently being redeveloped.

Little Village

Little Village supports families with babies and children under five living in poverty across London.  They run a baby bank network, collecting, sorting and passing on pre-loved clothes and equipment.  Parents are also supported by their dedicated signposting and guidance team, who offer advice and links to other services. They are based in London, and have supported more than 24,000 children under 5 since they started in 2016. Their values of love, solidarity, thriving and sustainability underpin everything they do.
